Priorities for Prayer

  • Sunday the 7th —
    Uphold our teams in Uganda and Tanzania as they work to resolve tax issues with the authorities.
  • Monday the 8th —
    The Asia Pacific orientation course for new staff continues this week; pray for the delegates as they prepare for their future assignments.
  • Tuesday the 9th —
    Please pray for the housing project in Chad to continue on schedule and to be done well with good relationships between builders/contractors and MAF.
  • Wednesday the 10th —
    The Papua Kodiak has yet to be released from customs. Please pray for those involved in seeking a swift resolution to this.
  • Thursday the 11th —
    Pray for good candidates to come forward for the vacancies around the world, including a Finance Officer for the Bangladesh program.
  • Friday the 12th —
    Keep praying for strength and safety for our team in Haiti as they continue to work with relief organizations.
  • Saturday the 13th —
    Uphold the Regional Representatives training day in South Africa today and pray for all the staff members involved.

Team Focus

South Africa (Program & Training Base)

  • Leon Prinsloo leads the team of ten in South Africa and Stuart Fitch is head of the Training Base.
  • Pray for wisdom in new partnerships for the program.
  • Praise God that we now have a full Aviation Training Organization license from the South Africa CAA and that marco Koffeman and Stuart Fitch have South African Flight Instructor ratings.
  • Uphold the Training Captains conference in March; pray that it will be a rewarding time for all those involved.

France

  • Yves Koning leads a team of six volunteers.
  • Uphold the French churches and pray that they will be more open to supporting individual missionaries.
  • MAF is not well known among the Christian community. Pray for new people ready to visit churches and participate in the organization of events.
